Superb Art Deco unusual silver and Marcasite
1950's handwound wristwatch by Bucherer,
the watch consisting of silvered
dial housed in silver marcasite
case with unusual marcasite hinged
cover over the dial, which opens
for viewing the time, but when closed
the whole watch appears to be a
single piece of jewellery. The
watch shoulders are fully hinged
and articulated, and fits the wrist
beautifully. The watch on
cordette leather strap.

Interesting Silver Ladies watch. This
watch is hallmarked for Glasgow
1908 and would have been converted
to a wrist watch around 1920. The
watch was probably originally a
pocket watch and as wristwatches
came into vogue, people who had
a fob watch were then having lugs
fitted so that it could be worn
on the wrist.
The watch with
porcelain dial, blued steel hands
and a hand chased silver case, upon
the back of which is engraved a
floral design.

interesting English made, 1940's
Smiths, Art Deco Style, Marcasite
set Silver Brooch fob watch. The
watch with silvered dial with applied
gold, Arabic numeral hour markers,
and subsidiary seconds dial at 6
o'clock on the watch dial. Suspended
on a Marcasite bow, which when worn
on a blouse or a jacket lapel etc,
enables the watch to be read via
titling the watch dial upwards.
A lovely design in absolutely
amazing condition, with a locking
clasp. |

Swiss made antique hand wound wrist
watch. This watch of particular
interest due to its inscribed monogram
upon the case back including the
date of September 5th 1906. The
watch is on a rose-gold spring mount
expanding bracelet. With Roman Numeral

o'clock. The high grade unsigned Swiss lever
movement in 9ct pink gold case with very
interesting inscription on case back "Commemorating
liberation of Belgium 1944". On matching
associated 9ct gold expanding link bracelet.
Comes complete with its original fitted
leather box. An interesting watch and quite
